## Review summary

Rail Runner's iOS app is praised for fast, Apple Pay-based ticket purchases and the ability to buy and store tickets digitally, offering a smoother process than the older Rio ticketing app. Users also note quick setup times. However, multiple reviews report payment errors/charges, declines, and general payment reliability issues. Others dislike the schedule being web-only, and there are inconsistencies with tickets not appearing in-app. Accessibility concerns and a perceived cumbersome interface also appear in feedback.

### Pros

- Apple Pay support makes ticket purchases fast and painless
- Digital tickets can be bought and saved in the app
- Fast setup and purchase times (often under 5 minutes, around 3 minutes)
- Improved app compared to the previous Rio ticketing app

### Cons

- Payments fail or cards get charged even when the purchase fails
- Schedule info directs users to the website, not integrated in-app
- Purchased tickets sometimes don’t show in the app and require email receipts
- Forces use of the app to buy tickets, reducing accessibility
