## Description

EnviroSpark helps drivers find and use EV chargers, including public stations and private chargers at work or home, via a live map in the EnviroSpark app. You can start a charging session by scanning a charger's QR code or by selecting it in-app, and you can use a linked access card or Tap to Pay RFID if supported.

Pricing is transparent: see current rates before you plug in, and keep itemized receipts in the app. Start charging using your preferred payment method, and manage access for workplaces or residences as you go.

## Review summary

User feedback on EnviroSpark is mixed. The top recurring pain points are an update loop that blocks use, frequent crashes and black screens, onboarding and payments friction (no Sign In with Apple or Apple Pay, manual card entry), difficulty starting or sustaining a charging session, and concerns about high costs and recent subscription changes. Positive notes highlight easy setup, a useful subscription that saves money, an intuitive UI, and responsive development. Overall, the app shows promise, but reliability, onboarding ease, and pricing need improvement.

### Pros

- Easy to use and set up; intuitive UI; find charging stations easily.
- Subscriptions help save money on charging.
- Active development and responsive support; user feedback leads to new features.
- General reliability for basic charging sessions in some cases.

### Cons

- Persistent 'app out of date'/update prompts with no real update available.
- Frequent crashes, freezes, and black screens impact usage.
- Onboarding/payments friction: no Sign In with Apple, no Apple Pay, manual card entry.
- Difficulties starting or sustaining charging sessions; can't select charger; sessions cancel unexpectedly.
- High costs and unfavorable subscription changes (price increases, reduced charging hours).
