## Review summary

Powergate’s iOS app is plagued by connectivity and account problems, slow performance, and inconsistent tuning ability. Users report repeated Wi‑Fi and hotspot failures, login/verification issues, and long load times or writing errors that prevent tuning. Navigation can be clunky and some controls don’t respond, with update loops and limited support in some cases. A few note the concept and mobile use as positives, and rare mentions of helpful support or recovery guidance exist, but overall reliability and value concerns dominate the reviews.

### Pros

- Responsive support that can redo tunes when problems arise.
- Mobile-friendly design; you can use Powergate on your iPhone/iPad.
- Tuning itself is fine when the system functions.
- Wireless connectivity concept is a good idea.
- Touts the ability to unbrick a car and recover from problematic tunes.

### Cons

- Unreliable Wi‑Fi connectivity; frequent network/configuration failures (can't connect to Wi‑Fi or hotspots).
- Login and account verification problems (missing verification emails, incorrect credentials, password resets not resolving account access).
- Very slow performance; long load times, delays writing tunes, and frequent writing Preparation errors.
- Poor navigation and occasional non-responsive UI elements (e.g., select vehicle does nothing, sign-up fields blocked).
- High cost with questionable value given reliability issues (not worth the price for many users).
