## Description

Anyone can say they called it. Toldya makes you prove it.
Post a take — a real prediction about what's going to happen — and set the
date it gets revealed. Until then it stays locked in Spotlight. Nobody can
rate it, and nobody can pretend they saw it coming. When the date hits, your
take goes public and everyone finds out whether you were right.
HOW IT WORKS
Post a take. Call a game, a season, a trade, a breakout player — anything
with an outcome. Pick the date it should be judged on.
Back it or fade it. Before a take is revealed, everyone else gets one
question: do you believe this? Back it or fade it. The split freezes the
moment the take is revealed, so nobody gets to switch sides after watching
it fall apart.
Rate it. Once a take is revealed, it gets scored 0 to 10 on how it actually
turned out.
Live with it. Every take you have ever posted stays on your profile with its
rating attached — the ones you nailed and the ones you would rather forget.

TAKE TRACKERS
Sports commentators make predictions for a living and almost never get held
to them. Toldya runs unofficial tracker accounts that follow public shows and
post the predictions made on them, citing the show and the date, so those
calls get rated like everybody else's.
These accounts are clearly labeled as automated. They are not affiliated with
or endorsed by the commentators or shows they follow, and they post AI-written
paraphrases of public broadcasts rather than quotes.
