FallingNotes lets you load MIDI files, practice them with a MIDI-compatible keyboard, and shape the music directly in a visual falling-notes editor. Watch notes fall toward the keyboard, pause until you play the right notes, follow staff notation for sight-reading, and edit performances with precise musical control.

Version 3.0 is a major expansion. FallingNotes is now not only a practice app, but also a piano performance editor. You can edit notes, tempo, velocity, pedal, tracks, and timing; transcribe piano audio to MIDI; transfer expression from one performance to another; and export standard MIDI files for use in other tools or supported player-piano workflows.
