TAS Fires is a Chrome extension that brings up-to-date Tasmanian bush fire information to your browser. It presents fires in a searchable, sortable list and on an interactive map, using live data from the Tasmanian Fire Service RSS feeds and wind data from the Bureau of Meteorology, tailored to your current location via GPS.

Data is not cached; internet access is required. It is not a replacement for official alerts, and fire and weather information can change rapidly.
