Powered by Chief Meteorologist Stephen Cropper, the WPXI Severe Weather Team 11 app is a 24/7 weather tool for Western Pennsylvania. It features a new radar that matches Live Storm Tracker Doppler 11, including future radar for storm path outlook, with a 250-meter resolution. Earthquake and storm tracks are now available as radar layers for enhanced situational awareness.

Push alerts are free for 25+ alert types, including tornado warnings, winter storm warnings, and tropical storm alerts. You can save and name locations, drop precise pins on the map, and use GPS for current location awareness. The app works on tablets and phones, offers high-resolution satellite imagery, and provides neighborhood-level radar zoom, all for the United States only.
