## Description

D Minder Pro helps you track and optimize your Vitamin D intake by calculating your sun exposure and D generation. It integrates with Apple Health to fetch your profile on setup, keeps weight updated for dosing, and writes vitamin D doses back to Health. The app uses a stopwatch interface to show how long you can stay outside during prescribed hours, and it notifies you when the next exposure opportunity arrives. It also provides location-based daily forecasts, solar position data, and a visual comparison of your generated Vitamin D versus targets.

In the Pro version, you can view exposure history and schedule future exposure events. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Subscriptions include an Annual and Lifetime option, auto-renewing as described in the terms. All data sharing respects privacy settings and you can manage subscriptions via the App Store.

## Review summary

Users primarily report a black screen on launch that renders the app unusable, with updates failing to fix it. Recurrent instability includes crashes, freezes, and persistent launch problems even after reinstall. Data loss and missing or corrupted history after updates are also frequently mentioned, sometimes accompanying lost ability to log across days or years of data. Additional pain points include a redesigned UI that hides key functions (like safe sun minutes) and increased setup friction, plus broken integrations (Apple Watch, Garmin, Cronometer) and syncing. A minority still finds the core tracking useful and appreciates the redesign.

### Pros

- Helps track sun exposure and vitamin D, a core, valued feature.
- Redesign and new UI are appreciated by some users.
- Long-term usefulness; users have relied on it for years.

### Cons

- Black screen on launch renders the app unusable.
- Updates fail to fix the black screen and introduce ongoing instability.
- Data loss or corruption after updates; history/logs lost.
- Key features removed or harder to access (safe sun minutes) and increased setup friction.
- Broken integrations and syncing (Apple Watch, Garmin, Cronometer, iCloud).
