## Description

FortiToken Mobile is an OATH-compliant OTP generator for iOS devices, enabling both time-based (TOTP) and event-based (HOTP) authentication. It serves as the client component of Fortinet’s secure, easy-to-administer strong authentication solution and works with FortiOS or FortiAuthenticator as the back-end validation server.

Privacy and control are central: the app cannot change phone settings, read emails, or access browser history, and it cannot remotely wipe the device. It asks for only necessary permissions—camera for QR code activation, TouchID/FaceID for security, and internet access for token activation and push notifications. It also supports sending feedback by email and internal file sharing to prepare attachments, and it maintains device activity during database upgrades to prevent data corruption.
