AVPlayer offers broad format support, high-quality post-processing, playback speed control from 0.5x to 2.0x, swipe gestures for fast seeking, rotation lock and aspect-ratio options, resume from last position, and USB/WiFi transfer. Note: hardware decoding improves efficiency, but may have limitations on older devices.
