## Review summary

iEngineer is a long-running, comprehensive fastener reference that users find easy to navigate and time-saving on the shop floor. It provides broad data for fasteners, torque checks, and drill sizes. However, reviews repeatedly flag data gaps (missing dimensions, pipe-thread specs, tap drill charts), occasional torque/strength calculation inaccuracies, and a UI that hasn’t kept pace with newer iPhone displays. The metric data upgrade is valued by many. Overall, a reliable quick-reference tool with room for data completeness and UI updates.

### Pros

- Comprehensive all-in-one source for fastener data (dimensions, torque ranges, drill sizes)
- Easy to use and navigate, with information in one place
- Time-saving reference used daily by professionals and hobbyists
- Helpful for torque checks and dimension references during design and fabrication
- Long-standing tool with positive reputation and value, including metric data upgrade

### Cons

- Data gaps: missing dimensions and critical specs (pipe threads/NPT, tap drill charts, clearance fits)
- Torque/strength data accuracy issues: tensile-stress area and related torque calculations can be off
- UI not updated for modern devices; requests for optimization on iPhone X+ and larger displays
