**imiwa?** is a free, fully offline Japanese dictionary with fast lookup in kanji, kana, romaji, and multiple languages. Search kanji by handwriting, radicals, SKIP, or Four Corner codes, and explore stroke order, JLPT levels, school grades, example sentences, and vocabulary.

Use the camera to recognize Japanese text, analyze complete sentences with conjugation breakdowns, and study with spaced-repetition flashcards. The app also includes hiragana and katakana charts, counters, Tae Kim’s Japanese grammar guide, widgets, Siri Shortcuts, notes, favorites, and exportable search history. Optional purchases support development, but no features are paywalled.
