SONGS, RECORDINGS, AND RELEASES StudioNotes keeps the different parts of your catalog connected without treating them as the same thing. A Song holds the composition: lyrics, chords, songwriters, splits, registrations, and other songwriting information. Recordings keep track of the actual versions you've recorded, including performers, producers, engineers, agreements, identifiers, audio files, stems, alternate mixes, and other deliverables. Releases bring those Recordings together as singles, EPs, and albums, with artwork, release dates, distribution information, links, and track details. Use filters and Smart Collections to find groups of items based on the information StudioNotes already tracks.
