Never miss an important moment. Defense Recorder continuously records audio in the background, allowing you to rewind and save recent audio when you need it most.
Whether you're documenting an unexpected interaction, preserving important conversations (where legally permitted), or simply keeping a rolling audio history, Defense Recorder helps ensure you're prepared when the unexpected happens.
How It Works
Simply tap Record and continue using your phone as normal. Defense Recorder runs in the background while maintaining a rolling audio buffer.
By default, the app continuously preserves the most recent 30 minutes of audio, automatically replacing older recordings as new audio is captured. At any time, you can rewind, replay, and save audio from within your available recording history.

• Cloud Backup — Automatically upload and securely store your saved recordings in the cloud.
• Afterlife — Designate a trusted emergency contact to automatically receive your most recent recording if the feature is triggered.

• Ad-Free Experience — Remove advertisements throughout the app.
• Recording Reminders — Receive customizable reminders confirming whether recording is currently active.
• Android Auto Support — Automatically resume recording after an Android Auto session.
