## Description

AirGuard identifies trackers like AirTag, Samsung SmartTag and Tile that may be following you. It uses Bluetooth scans, stores found trackers locally on your device, and notifies you when a tracker is detected at least three times in different locations to reduce false alarms. With the scan feature you can search for a specific device and see how close you are; when you reach 100%, you’ve found it.

AirGuard is free and open-source, developed as part of a privacy-focused research project at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Secure Mobile Networking Lab). The project aims to protect privacy and study tracking behavior. It offers an opt-in anonymized data study, provides links to the privacy policy and GitHub repository, and clarifies that it is not affiliated with Apple or Samsung.
