Music & Audio Note brings recording, ear training, and sheet music creation together in one app.
View an audio player and staff paper on the same screen.

Compare a reference audio track (a recording or a song from your music library) with your sheet music side by side. Listening while you write or check your notation strengthens the connection between the music and the score, guiding you toward a more ideal performance. In the end, you may even be able to reproduce the music playing in your head through your instrument.

WHAT'S NEW

- Tempo & Time Signature Analysis
Just tap "Beat Analyze" to automatically detect a song's tempo. Downbeats are detected automatically too, so no more tedious manual marking.

- Chord Analysis
Instantly find out the chords of any song you're curious about. Tap "Analyze" to automatically detect and display the chord progression, cutting down your ear-training time dramatically.

* Works only with audio files you recorded or obtained yourself. Songs from your Apple Music library are not supported.

MAIN FEATURES

1. Separate Rhythm & Pitch Input
Enter rhythm and pitch separately, based on ear-training principles.

2. Linking Audio and Sheet Music
Link your audio source to your sheet music and sync playback position with measures.

3. Vertical Scrolling
View your sheet music with vertical scrolling, easily toggled in Settings.

4. Add & Edit Tracks
Freely add and edit tracks - chords, notes, text, and audio.

5. Adjustable Playback Speed
Change the audio playback speed as needed.

6. Sheet Music Viewer
Import sheet music from PDFs or photos and view it right in the app.

7. Metronome
The built-in metronome scrolls the page automatically to match the tempo and time signature set in your score.

8. Second Voice Part Support
Select an individual Note Track in "Edit track(s)" and turn on "Second Voice Part" to enter it.

9. Slurs & Text Input
Add slurs and text to your sheet music. Select a range of notes and use the popup menu that appears.

10. Video Recording of Performances
Record a video of your own performance to keep as a record.
