## Review summary

Most reviewers acknowledge strong hardware and usable fine-tuning with good iPhone integration, but the Sony | Hearing Control app is plagued by stability and usability problems. Repeated logins, loss of paired devices, and non-persistent settings, internet dependency for basic adjustments, frequent crashes, and slow support dominate the experience and overshadow the hardware benefits.

### Pros

- Fine-tuning and sound adjustment features work reasonably well when the app functions
- Reliable iPhone-to-hearing-aid connectivity/interoperability
- Ease of use for control-mode adjustments in some modes

### Cons

- Frequent sign-in/out and password issues; app requires repeated logins or resets
- The app forgets the paired hearing aids or loses the connection, forcing re-setup
- Settings do not persist; settings reset and battery check features stop working
- Internet access is required for basic adjustments, limiting offline use
- Crashes, timeouts, and 'start over' errors; customer support is slow or unresponsive
