## Review summary

Smart Music Card shows promise by using NFC to unlock album content and by offering rich media (photos, videos) and even vocal-free instrumentals within the app. When it works, the experience is quick, engaging, and conceptually appealing. However, many reviews report critical reliability issues: repeated login/authentication problems, NFC/scan failures, and persistent network errors. Some users see no difference between capsule music and streaming, and support is often described as lacking. The combination of reliability problems and limited guidance undermines the otherwise novel idea.

### Pros

- NFC-based scanning unlocks album content and provides quick access to app features.
- Rich media experience with photos, videos, and album inclusions available in-app.
- Audio features like removing vocals to create instrumentals enhance listening.
- Strong initial appeal when the NFC interaction works, including instant recognition and downloads.
- Engaging concept linking physical items (plushies, mini discs) to digital content.

### Cons

- Frequent login/authentication failures prevent account creation or access.
- NFC reading failures (chips, discs, cards) with little or no guidance.
- Persistent network/connection errors render the app unusable.
- Some content and features don’t work or differ little from streaming, reducing value.
- Limited troubleshooting support and occasional loss of purchased access due to account linking.
