## Review summary

User reviews mostly condemn the Godox Flash iOS app for forcing account creation and phone-number login to use Bluetooth devices, with frequent login failures and timeouts. Many complain about privacy concerns and the lack of a clear list of compatible flashes or triggers, plus difficulties adding lights. A few praise the UI and report that hardware triggers work when connected, but overall reliability and user onboarding issues dominate.

### Pros

- Nicely designed UI.
- When connected, the app can control Godox hardware (triggers/flash) and this works well.

### Cons

- Requires creating a Godox account and logging in, often with a phone number, before any device features can be used.
- Login process is flaky and often fails or times out, blocking access to the app and devices.
- Privacy concerns and data requirements (phone number, account) are raised by multiple users.
- Lack of device compatibility information or a list of compatible flashes/triggers, and difficulty adding lights.
- App sometimes does not work or fails to connect to triggers, making it unusable.
