## Review summary

Users praise Loper as a free, easy-to-use hub for college research that can feel like a personal counselor, with organized layouts and tailored recommendations. However, many reviews cite recurring sign-in issues, glitches and loading failures, unreliable search/navigation, input bugs (GPA decimals, year fields), and limited major/career options. These reliability problems undermine the experience for some users, even though others still find value when the app functions smoothly.

### Pros

- Centralized hub to save and research colleges with direct links to websites and social media.
- Free to use with ongoing recommendations for new colleges.
- Easy-to-use, well-organized, and visually smooth interface.
- Feels like a personal college counselor, accessible to students without a counselor.
- Data-driven recommendations through questions/quizzes to tailor results.

### Cons

- Sign-in and account issues (can't create/login, repeatedly asked to log in, verification code problems).
- Glitches and loading problems (app crashes, endless loops, not loading, lag).
- Unreliable navigation/search (hard to navigate, results don’t appear, cannot open college details).
- Data-entry bugs and input limitations (no decimals in GPA, numeric keyboard year input not working, limited input options).
- Limited content options (not many majors/careers, mismatch for certain sports or programs).
