## Description

Track every shot and every stat, then watch your game improve over time. Built for golfers who want real numbers without messing with a spreadsheet.

GolfStat helps you understand what is actually happening in your golf game. After each hole you record a few quick stats. After the round, the app pulls everything together into a breakdown that shows where you are playing well and where you are losing strokes. Your handicap factors into the analysis so the feedback is based on your level instead of comparing you to a scratch golfer.

While you are on the course, you can use your phone's GPS to measure the distance of any shot you hit. Tap once where you are. Walk to your ball. Tap again. The shot gets logged with the club you used. After the round, the app calculates your average distance for every club in your bag, which is the kind of data you usually only get from a launch monitor.

You can edit or delete any logged shot if something looked off. You can also browse past rounds, compare them, and watch your stats trend over time as you play more.

Per hole tracking:
Score, fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, penalty strokes, sand saves, scrambling, and anything else you want to capture.

Round summary:
Total score, fairway percentage, GIR percentage, average putts per hole, scrambling rate, and how you played versus your handicap.

Shot log:
Average distance per club, longest and shortest shots, every shot from every round you logged, and a clear view of which clubs need more range time.
