## Description

Camera is a powerful Chrome extension that enables high-quality photo and video capture with true-to-life color in any situation. It leverages Smart HDR, Deep Fusion, and Photographic Styles to preserve detail, render skin tones, and set the mood.

In addition to portrait and cinematic video features—including 4K120 Dolby Vision HDR, slo-mo, time-lapse, panorama, and more—the extension provides creative control for cinematic depth of field and post-recording focus adjustments. Note: not all features are available on every device.

## Review summary

Users value the core photo/video capture and editing capabilities, but recurring issues harm usability. The top concerns are unreliable autofocus, frequent crashes or freezes and failures to save photos, plus a redesigned UI that makes features harder to find (and even removes some like panorama). Additional friction includes missing or awkward controls (mid-recording switch, flash usability, pause for video) and device-specific limitations. Overall, core functionality is appealing; reliability and UI/feature gaps drive the negative feedback.

### Pros

- Core functionality for taking photos and videos.
- Built-in editing capabilities for photos and videos.
- Works across Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) for media capture and editing.
- Some users report good performance on newer iOS versions/hardware.

### Cons

- Unreliable autofocus and poor focus control.
- Frequent bugs and reliability issues: crashes, camera not recognized, stalls/freezes, and failures to save photos.
- Redesigned UI/UX that hides/removes features (e.g., panorama) and relocates core controls, increasing friction.
- Missing or awkward features and workflow problems (cannot switch cameras mid-recording, suboptimal flash controls, no pause for video).
- Device/model-specific limitations (e.g., limited zoom on some iPhones, wide-angle lens issues, automatic selfie mode with other apps).
