## Description

Portuguese official application to validate the COVID EU Digital Certificate.

Passe Covid can be used by everyone, including air companies, organizers of cultural, corporate, sporting and family events (such as weddings and baptisms), so that we can get back to normal days and our freedom, in safety.

The application may be used by entities to validate certificates issued by all Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The application validates the authenticity of the EU Digital Covid Certificate and the compliance with the Portuguese validation criteria defined by health authorities (Decree-Law No. 54-A/2021).

How to use it? 
Point the camera of your phone to read the QR code of the presented Digital Certificate COVID.The certificate may be presented on paper or in digital format. 
The app will automatically check the certificate. 
A green light result means that the certificate has been successfully validated. 
A result with red sign means that the certificate is not valid (the validation includes verification of the authenticity of the certificate and compliance with the health rules defined by the DGS). 

This application does not guarantee the security of the holder of the COVID Digital Certificate in relation to COVID-19, nor their identity, serving only to validate the authenticity of the certificate. 

The presentation of the COVID Digital Certificate does not serve as a form of identification of the bearer, always lacking the presentation of a valid and legitimate official identification document

The application does not store any kind of personal data.
