## Description

TDPT delivers real-time, full-body motion capture from a single shot or video playback using your camera. It supports background image integration from the Photos app, reads VRM avatars from the iOS Files app, and offers premium features to connect to VRoid Hub and export motion data in VMD/BVH formats.

The app provides practical controls for switching cameras and videos, moving and resizing avatars, and tuning performance with FPS and filter options. Premium features enable motion data transmission via VMC Protocol or OSC Trackers and export in standard formats.

## Review summary

Most reviews condemn the recent TDPT update as a downgrade. Repeated issues include degraded tracking (especially hips/legs), instability and glitches, and a confusing calibration flow. Users long for the old, smoother tracking and easier setup, with many urging a revert or option to revert. Some note better performance in VR when tracking worked, but overall sentiment is that the update worsened usability and motion accuracy.

### Pros

- Historically smooth and accurate tracking, especially before the update.
- When it worked, the app was easy to use and enjoyable.
- Solid VR compatibility/performance during functioning periods.

### Cons

- The update degrades tracking quality and reliability, with many users asking to revert to the old version (TDPT).
- Hip and leg tracking are significantly worse or not tracked at all after the update, causing unstable movement.
- The new in‑app calibration and setting changes are confusing and time‑consuming to use.
- Bugs and glitches (jitter, twists, instability) make the app unreliable for real movement.
- Changes to the skeleton/proportions reduce natural movement and accuracy, making motion feel stiff or misaligned.
