## Description

UMANG India (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is a mobile-first e-Governance platform developed by MeitY and NeGD to deliver pan-India government services via app, web, SMS, and IVR.

UMANG India provides a Unified Platform with Mobile-First strategy, and seamless integration with Digital India services like Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and PayGov. It offers a uniform, secure experience across Central, State, and Local bodies, enabling access to services across healthcare, finance, education, housing, energy, agriculture, transport, utilities, and employment. Citizens benefit from single-point access, reduced app clutter, convenience, and encrypted personal data with Aadhaar-based or other authentication.
