## Description

Qaly | ECG Reader delivers expert ECG interpretations from certified cardiographic technicians. With 500,000+ ECGs read and 200,000+ members, it supports Apple Watch, Fitbit, Kardia, Withings, Garmin, WHOOP and more. Get analyses of 30+ palpitations and abnormal rhythms (Afib, SVT, PAC, PVC) and track HRV for stress and recovery. Reports are produced within minutes and can be shared securely with your doctor.

Developed by Stanford cardiologists and engineers, Qaly is designed to complement medical care with human expertise. The app integrates with the Health app to display PR, QRS, and QTc intervals and provides professional interpretations beyond typical ECG analyzers. It’s available where regulatory clearances exist (FDA CE UKCA TGA Health Canada). Note: it is not medical advice, and call emergency services if you have an urgent condition. Not available on iPad.

## Review summary

Users praise fast, expert technician reviews and the AI+human analysis, along with clear explanations and long-term ECG insights that offer peace of mind. Recurring downsides are billing problems, weak support, accuracy/lead limitations, limited data access, and occasional reliability issues. The app is valuable when functioning, but pricing, support, and reliability concerns are commonly cited.

### Pros

- Fast, responsive human ECG reviews by technicians.
- Hybrid AI analysis with an option to have real humans review ECGs.
- Clear, easy-to-understand explanations of results.
- Useful insights and long-term tracking of ECG metrics (PVC/PAC burden, intervals).
- Provides peace of mind during symptoms or exercise and helps monitor health between doctor visits.

### Cons

- Billing and pricing transparency issues: unexpected charges, ongoing charges after cancellation, and unclear upfront pricing.
- Customer support responsiveness problems: difficulty contacting support and delays with data deletion or account issues.
- Accuracy and device limitations: single-lead readings, not FDA approved, potential misreads or mislabeling, and limited 12-lead applicability.
- Limited data access: only a small set of ECGs load (often 8) and no easy way to manually upload ECGs.
- Reliability issues: app freezes or doesn't work on newer devices and long wait times for reviews.
