## Review summary

User reviews show the M&D Connect app is plagued by connectivity and stability issues, with many reports of the app failing to discover or connect to headphones and freezing during use. Firmware updates are unreliable, and the app often feels basic with insufficient features for the product price. Some positives exist when it happens to work, including Bluetooth device management and a customizable EQ, but widespread issues drive overall dissatisfaction.

### Pros

- Bluetooth management and device switching in the app can simplify pairing with multiple devices when the app works.
- Custom EQ controls are available for some compatible devices.
- Some users report a generally smooth experience with the app after updates.

### Cons

- Frequent connectivity issues: the app often cannot discover or connect to the headphones, or times out during pairing.
- App instability: it frequently freezes or hangs during setup, connection attempts, or after confirming devices.
- Unreliable firmware updates via the app: updates can fail or take excessively long, sometimes rendering the headset unresponsive.
- The app is perceived as basic and lacking features (no robust EQ, limited controls) for the price.
- Compatibility gaps: certain models or earbuds are not supported by the app, leading to further frustration.
