## Description

Atom | Piano Roll 2 is a modular iOS AUv3 MIDI editor, sequencer, and clip launcher with MPE, sustain, pitch, mod, and automation recording across 16 channels in a single instance. It expands your MIDI workflow with flexible routing, a scripting playground, custom layouts, and themes for bespoke workflows.

Note: This plugin is not a standalone app and requires a compatible host. MIDI is soundless by itself—route it into a synthesizer or instrument app. Hardware integration typically uses iCloud Drive. It shines when used with AUM and Drambo; tested hosts include ApeMatrix, Audiobus, BeatMaker, Cubasis, MTS, Zenbeats, with NanoStudio 2 limited support and GarageBand not supported. Use cases include building live clip sets, writing melodies via touch, step input, or real-time capture; exporting MIDI; importing MIDI from other apps; recording generated MIDI; ghost lanes for harmonies; and creating custom layouts and themes. You can also write code to extend behavior and build a truly customized workspace.
