## Description

Weather Strip is a beautifully crafted weather app and widget that presents a clear forecast timeline. It visualizes forecasted clouds, rain, snow, wind, auroras, rainbows, and other phenomena in a glance-friendly view. Innovative features include extreme weather warnings directly on the timeline (thunderstorms, fires, hurricanes, flooding, landslides) and inline minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts derived from radar data.

Use the interactive map to request forecasts for any location worldwide—mountains, trails, lakes, or any spot you place a marker. Privacy matters: no ads, no tracking, and no third‑party analytics. Location data stays on your device, with optional background refresh and offline access for recent forecasts. Weather Strip is free to try for two weeks, with a minimal subscription afterward. Forecasts come from Foreca, Apple Weather globally, and NOAA/NWS in the United States. Designed by data-visualization researcher Robin Stewart to help everyone enjoy the outdoors.
