## Review summary

Users broadly report that the app misstates its Apocrypha offering and often lacks accessible content. Many reviews cite missing or unreadable Apocrypha books, blank screens, and navigation/readability issues (especially with book names). Ads are intrusive, with some paying for ad removal but still affected, and support responsiveness is criticized. Despite these issues, the app’s simple UI and note-taking/highlighting features are valued when the content loads and works.

### Pros

- Simplicity and easy navigation/UI.
- Notes and highlighting feature.
- Overall positive sentiment about the app's quality when functioning (general praise in multiple reviews).

### Cons

- Apocrypha content is missing, unavailable, or incomplete despite claims.
- Excessive ads and ad-related frustrations; paid ad-free option does not satisfy all users.
- Content fails to load or display properly (books appear blank) and navigation/readability is hindered (missing/book titles, labeling issues).
- UI readability issues across modes (names of chapters hard to see, light-on-dark problems) and overall labeling/navigation problems.
- Poor responsiveness from support and perceived misadvertising about Apocrypha (refund requests common).
