- Know how much nutrients a serving size contains (tablespoon, glass, piece, etc.), and how much it represents of your daily needs based on your profile (gender, age, weight, height, activity level)

Not only, but also you can:
- Compare multiple food products and find out the best with our comparison tool
- Search a food product with choosing your search preferences such as low in calories, high in protein, etc.
- Add products to your favourites list and access it even offline
- See your scan history even offline
- Get your daily need of nutrients calculated by the app based on your profile (gender, age, weight, height, activity level), or choose to enter yourself your daily needs of calories and protein (if for e.g. your following a certain diet) and let the app do the rest

ChooseBetter’s scoring algorithm and nutritional indications are evaluated by an expert nutrition scientist and are based on the latest scientific researches of trusted sources such as the German Federal Center for Nutrition (BZfE), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the German Nutrition Society (DGE), Health claims regulation (HCVO), and Max Rübner Institute (MRI).

We use “openfoodfacts”, an open source database, to get some of the food products data.
