## Description

Florø Sportsklubb (stiftet 12. juni 1912, først som Florø Fotballklubb) er en sportsklubb fra Florø i Flora kommune. Sportsklubben driver blant annet fotball og håndball. Laget ble stiftet 12. juni 1912. I perioden 1929-45 het laget Florø-Varg. Etter sammenslåing i 1945 med arbeideridrettslaget Atgeir (stiftet i 1931) ble navnet endret til Florø Sportsklubb. I 2011 ble FSK (Florø Sportsklubb) og Tempo enige om at den aldersbestemte fotballen skulle samles, og at de skulle kalle FSK og Tempo for Florø Fotball. Florø Fotball spiller i sesongen 2017 i 1. divisjon fotball for menn. Laget spiller sine hjemmekamper på gressbanen på Florø stadion.

Tidlig på 2000-tallet startet klubben en langsiktig satsing på egne fotballtalenter, blant annet i et eget fotballakademi. Det resulterte etter hvert i flere sterke resultater. I 2011 vant Florø &16-klassen i Dana Cup i Danmark, laget kom til semifinalen i cupen for G16, og flere av spillerne ble tatt ut på aldersbestemte landslag.
