## Description

Mobile Cooling Chrome extension lets you control CFX3, CFX5, and CFX2 coolers from your phone over Bluetooth. Remotely monitor temperatures, power the cooler on/off, and manage individual compartments with a tap.

Choose °C or °F, view power source (AC or DC), and see DC supply voltage for compatible models. Receive a lid-open alert if left open for more than 3 minutes, and set battery protection levels to match your needs. Compatible with CFX3, CFX5, and CFX2.

## Review summary

User reviews consistently rate the Mobile Cooling app as buggy and unreliable. Repeated issues include unstable connectivity (Bluetooth/WiFi), limited and mismatched temperature controls, frequent app crashes, firmware update failures, and weak support. A minority report stable Bluetooth operation and usable basic controls, but overall the app struggles to meet advertised features.

### Pros

- Simple, straightforward app controls for basic cooler operation.
- Bluetooth pairing and connectivity are generally stable in many cases.
- WiFi remote control is supported (advertised) and works when conditions are right for the user.

### Cons

- Frequent connectivity problems: Bluetooth pairing failures, device not found, and WiFi connections dropping after updates.
- Temperature control is limited in the app (minimum setpoint around 17–18°F) and often does not match the fridge’s actual temperature or allows past adjustments to revert.
- App instability and crashes: black/white screens, UI glitches, and failures after updates.
- Firmware update issues: updates fail or get stuck, and users report difficulty updating or reverting versions.
- Support responsiveness is poor, with boilerplate responses and slow or unhelpful resolutions.
