AirData UAV utilizes vast amounts of flight data and unique mathematical algorithms to provide state-of-the-art crash prevention information by identifying potential safety problems. ## Review summary

Reviews praise Airdata UAV as a free, data-rich tool with strong weather/flight logging and cross-device support, plus a mobile browser that covers much of the web version. However, persistent stability issues, missing website features in the app, and usability frustrations (readability, navigation, and inconsistent functionality) hinder its professional use on mobile.

### Pros

- Free app with substantial features and value for users who don’t want to pay
- Robust weather forecast data including wind, temperature, visibility, and satellite information
- Automatic flight logging and a detailed history of flights, drones, and batteries
- Works across iPhone and iPad, enabling planning at home and on the go
- Mobile flight browser provides access to much of the web version’s data for planning and analysis

### Cons

- Stability issues and crashes, particularly when accessing the Preflight Checklist
- Incomplete feature parity with the website (missing badges/certificates, maintenance data, and upload capabilities)
- UI/UX readability and navigation problems (low-contrast color scheme, login screen text overlap, and missing back button on iPad)
- Occasional non-functionality or limited in-app viewing (thumbnails-only interface and inability to view/edit details)
