## Description

PhotoDiva is a powerful portrait photo editor available as a Chrome extension. It lets you retouch faces, smooth skin, whiten teeth, add light and color corrections, and quickly remove imperfections with just a click.

Around 30+ filters and creative tools help you craft studio-like portraits: apply vintage tones, adjust exposure and color, create bokeh, add light leaks, and crop for social posts. Includes vignette controls and horizon correction for polished results, with a subscription for full access.

## Review summary

User reviews largely criticize PhotoDiva for misleading pricing and a heavy paywall, with many features like removing double chins or turning frowns into smiles missing or unavailable in the free version. Reviewers report that the app pushes paid VIP tiers and a $29 subscription, sometimes presenting these costs as upfront charges. Several call it false advertising and useless. There are few positive notes; some say it's a basic, run-of-the-mill editor, but most view it as overpriced and not delivering advertised capabilities.

### Cons

- Pricing and subscription model is misleading and expensive: claims of free access but requires a costly subscription (annual upfront, around $29), with monthly options advertised but billed yearly.
- Key features are not available or fail to deliver (e.g., removing double chin, turning frowns into smiles) despite promotion.
- Free version is too limited / not truly free; promotional claims not honored; better apps exist.
- Gating of features behind VIP or paid tiers (half the app selections require VIP) leading to poor value.
