Get more out of your training with Cadence! Cadence integrates with Health and instantly gives you insight into your workouts. Use the fully interactive map to see pace, splits, elevation, cadence and more. Compare old workouts and see your progress in real time. Share routes with friends and compete in virtual races.

Finding a workout in a list is hard, finding a workout on a map is easy!

Cadence shows all your workouts saved in the health app, which means you can use the apps you love while working out and still view them in Cadence.

Features:
- Widgets with up-to-date information about your workouts
- Browse workouts on an interactive map
- See you elevation, cadence, heart rate and splits
- Replay and compare workouts in compare mode
- Import and Export .gpx files

NOTE: This is not a workout tracking app, instead Cadence helps you visualize your previous workouts. Cadence will only show workouts which routes are saved in the Health app. For best results use the built-in Workouts app on Apple Watch.

## Rankings

- #266,388 — Overall

## Review summary

Users praise the map overlay and ease of use, but report stability and loading issues, readability and customization gaps, lack of data persistence, and new paywalls as major drawbacks. The strongest positives are the single-map overlay and simplicity, while reliability and configurability remain key complaints.

### Pros

- Overlay of all workouts/routes on a single map
- Intuitive, simple interface with good design
- Useful for viewing past hikes/activities and geographic coverage
- Ready to use out of the box with minimal setup

### Cons

- Crashes on startup/open map and the app hasn't been updated in years
- Data fails to load or connect to workouts (shows nothing after reinstall; wont connect to workouts)
- Line colors are hard to see; lacks color customization or a color scheme toggle
- Data does not persist between sessions; app reloads activity data on each launch
- New paywalls gating features that used to be free
