## Description

The free ONF Link companion app uses your smartphone to manage your ONF devices, including lighting schedule, brightness, and color temperature. You can easily adjust the finer brightness and CCT( color temperature) in manual mode.
In daylight cycle mode, you may set the combination of up to five groups of brightness and CCT.
ONF device will change the light color and brightness gradually depending on the time you set, providing a variety of looks at different times, and creating a personalized daylight cycle.

## Rankings

## Review summary

ONF Link is praised for its simplicity and basic daylight-cycle control, with easy setup and helpful pairing guidance. However, several users report major usability and reliability flaws: editing schedules is cumbersome (you must delete later slots to adjust earlier ones, and you’re limited to six settings), automations don’t run in the background unless the app stays open, and the UI can be laggy. Some devices show compatibility issues or require separate apps. Overall, it works for simple use but struggles with more advanced scheduling and reliability.

### Pros

- Simple and easy to use for basic setup and control.
- Clear pairing/setup flow with in-app guidance and access to instructional videos.
- Timer feature with per-schedule brightness control.
- Effective for basic daylight-cycle use and gets the job done for some users.

### Cons

- Scheduling editing is cumbersome and limited: you must delete later time slots to edit earlier ones, and you’re capped at six settings.
- Automation and Bluetooth reliability are poor: schedules only function when the app is open; background operation is unreliable.
- User interface can be laggy and slow, making navigation feel unresponsive.
- Compatibility issues with certain devices or variants, sometimes requiring separate apps or causing device support gaps.
