## Review summary

Mgrs & Utm Map is visually appealing and useful for field navigation, with solid core features when it works. Users praise the UI and the app’s practicality for MGRS/Utm tasks and outdoor use. However, frequent issues dampen the experience: intrusive ads, missing grid display and grid plotting, layer/file import/export bugs (including KML), periodic crashes, lack of offline maps and insufficient in-app help. Some note Android parity gaps and unclear pro pricing activation. Overall, it’s a promising tool that currently struggles with reliability and UX frictions.

### Pros

- Beautiful, intuitive UI that makes mapping tasks pleasant.
- High practical utility for field navigation (MGRS/Utm, coordinate formats, markers, overlays).
- Core features perform well when the app is functioning.
- Well-suited for outdoor use and group activities (e.g., off-road or tactical contexts).

### Cons

- Ads are intrusive and can block important information or grid lines.
- Cannot display or plot grid lines; missing a toggle to show the grid.
- Layer management and file import/export bugs (KML not functioning; pro features sometimes don’t load; support issues).
- Stability issues, including crashes and glitches.
- Lack of offline maps and insufficient in-app help or instructions.
