Your private key never leaves your device. All encryption and decryption happens locally — cloud servers store encrypted data only. Even Proximity cannot read or decrypt your credentials.

Your trusted network is your recovery system. If you lose your phone or reinstall the app, a trusted contact can securely verify you and return your encrypted key — without exposing your data or involving Proximity. No centralized recovery risk, no backdoors.
