Designed to keep workers safe, the latest version of the NECA Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Selector app is a mobile friendly alternative to the popular printed guide, NECA NFPA 70E® Personal Protective Equipment Selector (Index# 5024-21): necanet.org/5024

Stay in compliance! Learn which tasks require PPE and which don't. Users will be able to understand and apply the provisions found in the 2018 revision of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)'s Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, NFPA 70E®.

The app provides a simplified approach and understanding to jobsite PPE requirements by providing an in-app job task analysis, briefings examples and risk assessment tools with detailed requirement explanations. The app also provides users with Arc Flash PPE categories, glove charts, and specific PPE options for both direct and alternating current requirements.

Maintenance related safety requirements are also included in the standard and is a basis for applying the provisions found in the Table Method for implementing PPE and Arc Flash Protection.
