Scriptable is an iOS automation tool that lets you write JavaScript to access native iOS features—files, calendars, reminders, contacts, photos, location, pasteboard, and more—so you can automate everyday tasks with code. You can also connect Scriptable with Siri Shortcuts to present content in Siri, read text aloud, and drive complex automations through voice.

Scripts can work with files from other apps via File Bookmarks, synchronize across devices with iCloud Drive, and be shared or exported easily. The editor includes autocomplete for variables, functions, and properties, and the app offers a large gallery of example scripts, offline documentation, and a robust docs site (docs.scriptable.app) for learning all native APIs. You can run scripts from URL schemes, share sheets, notifications, and even on the Lock Screen, with support for dark mode and customizable editor.
