## Description

Dexcom G6 provides real-time glucose readings every five minutes on compatible smart devices. The Dexcom G6 CGM System is approved for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks, no scanning, and no calibration. See your glucose number and its direction at a glance, and share data with followers via the Dexcom Follow app. You can access retrospective glucose data in health apps, view trend data with the Today View widget, and ask Siri to read your current value. For deeper insights, you can open the Clarity app from the trend graph, and use the Apple Watch app and watch face complications to monitor glucose on your wrist.

Alerts are customizable with an Alert Schedule and the Always Sound option keeps certain CGM alerts audible even when your device is muted, vibrating, or in Do Not Disturb. You’ll receive Low and High glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon, and Rise and Fall Rate; however, some safety-critical alarms (like Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped) cannot be silenced. Dexcom supports data sharing with Dexcom Followers and third-party health apps, plus privacy controls to manage who can view your glucose information.
