@nifty VPN wifi（旧 @niftyあんしんWiFi VPN）アプリは、VPN(Virtual Private Network＝仮想の専用線)(*1) を利用してスマートフォンとニフティのサーバ間の通信を暗号化しているため、安全性の低いWi-Fiスポットを利用した場合でも、盗聴やなりすましなどのリスクの軽減に役立ちます。

*1) 仮想的な通信トンネルを作成し、データの暗号化を行って通信をするものです。専用線のように通信経路の途中でデータ盗聴や改ざんの防止に役立ちます。

■自動VPN接続
Wi-Fi接続すると、自動でVPN接続に切り替わり、公衆無線LANスポット(Wi-Fiスポット)を安心してお使いいただけます。
*公衆無線LANスポット(Wi-Fiスポット)によっては、VPN接続が利用できない場合があります。

■VPNサーバを国内に設置
VPNサーバは、安心・信頼のニフティクラウドを利用しています。
VPNサーバに接続すると、インターネットアクセスは全て国内にあるVPNサーバを経由します。
