## Description

Bugko is a fan-made MTG companion app designed for players and judges. It unifies news sources, spoiler alerts, an offline card database with fast syntax search, a deck builder, and pricing from TCGPlayer and Cardmarket.

Beyond the core features, Bugko also offers life counters, collection tracking, wish lists, offline rule references (IPG, MTR), multi-language card text, and judge tools to support events and travel.

## Review summary

Bugko is a feature-rich MTG app with a strong toolkit, including a top-rated life counter, cloud sync/backup, draft timers, and a robust news/rules section. Reviewers praise its breadth and the developers' responsiveness, with many noting data safety after crashes. The main downsides are stability issues (crashes) and a missing card scanner for quick trades, plus a few reports of search issues after updates. Overall, it remains a standout choice for both veteran and new players who want an all-in-one MTG companion, albeit with some reliability caveats.

### Pros

- Comprehensive MTG toolkit (deck management, rules references, card catalog, news, tournaments).
- Best-in-class life counter widely praised.
- Cloud sync/backup for decks and data.
- Draft timers integrated for drafting modes.
- Responsive development team and strong feature set (news, rules, card catalog, etc).

### Cons

- Frequent crashes/instability across multiple reviews.
- Lack of a card scanner for quick collection updates/trades.
