## Description

T-SAT (SoFTNET) is a government initiative by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications of Telangana, designed to deliver quality education through satellite technology and information technology.

Using the GSAT 8 satellite, T-SAT telecasts four channels, including T-SAT NIPUNA and T-SAT VIDYA, to support distance learning, agriculture extension, rural development, telemedicine, and e-governance. Its mission is to educate, enlighten and empower Telangana's people by reaching last-mile institutions and offering training in Women & Child Welfare, Rural Development, Skill Development, Health and Agriculture Extension.
