## Description

Book Breeze helps you develop your reading habit. Whether your goal is 3 or 300 books a year, this extension makes starting and finishing books fun and rewarding.

Track pages read, books completed, and reading pace with large graphs across weekly, monthly, and yearly views. It provides continuously updated progress and remaining time estimates, tracks daily reading streaks, offers weekly and total stats, and can send an optional daily reminder to keep you on track. Note: This is a book tracker (reading tracker) — the actual reading content happens outside the app.

## Review summary

Book Breeze is a simple, easy-to-use reader-tracker with strong stats, daily motivation, and clear progress visuals. It shines in tracking, streaks, and time/percent estimates, with an affordable Pro option. However, it has notable gaps: no barcode scanner or reading-speed metric, occasional data loss or DST resets, lack of regular updates, and no Apple Watch support. Overall, a solid daily tracker that would be excellent with bug fixes and feature additions.

### Pros

- Simple, easy-to-use interface that just works.
- Robust tracking with stats, progress percentages, time read, and reading streaks.
- Motivates daily reading with reminders and goal-oriented features.
- One-time Pro purchase offers good value compared to subscription models.
- Well-suited for daily use and tracking physical books.

### Cons

- No barcode scanner; manual entry for hundreds of books is tedious.
- No speed metric such as words-per-minute (WPM) to measure reading pace.
- Streaks and time tracking can be unreliable: deletions, DST/time resets, and occasional crashes.
- Lack of updates / app appears unmaintained for years.
- Missing Apple Watch support and other integrations.
