## Description

fDeck is a pocket flight deck that brings graphically accurate flight instruments to your mobile device. It lets you tune real-world radio aids from a global aviation database or create your own virtual navaids to practice radio navigation—perfect for training or as a supplementary set of instruments during flight. The app also includes a movable map with airspace, airports, and live weather and ADS-B traffic, so you can reposition your virtual aircraft and see how instruments would respond at a new location.

Current instruments include HSI, VOR, ADF, artificial horizon, groundspeed indicator, vertical speed indicator, compass with a functioning heading bug, altimeter with barometric adjustments, chronometer with fuel totaliser, flight planner, and weather/wind with live METAR/TAF. You can tune multiple instrument slots, switch to full-screen focus, and add your own navaids for practice. Each instrument has a video tutorial. fDeck is free with ads, and Premium unlocks remove ads, extend station limits, monthly nav data updates, weather overlays, live ADS-B traffic, TCAS features, and the X-Plane connector.

Overall, it’s a highly capable, user-friendly flight instruments app suitable for learning and on‑board backup, especially on iPhone.

- Broad and versatile instrument suite with features like ADF, GPS speed, DME, VOR/HSI, inclinometer, plus flight planner, chronometer, timers, and nav aids.

### Cons

- Compass/navigation indicators can be inverted or misaligned (back course vs TO indications, VOR needles, map pointer), causing confusion.
