Each level offers multiple avenues to success. Your score hinges directly on the time remaining once you've conquered a level. The higher your score, the more stars you'll earn, and each star translates to 10 upgrade points. These points can be invested in acquiring additional bullets, extending the time available per level, and slowing down the rotation of the crosshair arrow.
