## Description

Friday is a solo island adventure where you guide Robinson through hazards. He starts clumsy, but every win strengthens his abilities and every defeat helps you trim away bad habits. The game uses a stack of cards to represent his behaviors, and you tailor it to give him the best chance to win.

Play across four levels, plus a new fifth level as a special challenge. Earn achievements, and compete on the weekly highscore. The latest addition, King of the Island, lets up to 1024 players join a synchronized tournament to crown the true ruler.

## Review summary

Friday on iOS is widely praised as a faithful, streamlined digital port of the physical game, delivering a strong solo experience that is challenging, replayable, and easy to pick up on the go. Reviewers cite polished design, quality port feel, and the app’s usefulness as a learning tool for the real game. However, onboarding is weak, with minimal in-app guidance and a UI that is not always intuitive. Stability issues and bugs also crop up for some players, and there are UX annoyances like intrusive popups and the absence of an undo feature.

### Pros

- Faithful, spot-on adaptation of the physical Friday game, reproducing the card play.
- Excellent solo experience — highly challenging and endlessly replayable.
- Very portable and convenient to play anywhere, anytime.
- Polished, well-designed port that recreates the feel of the original.
- Helpful for learning the game, serving as a solid stepping stone before playing the physical version.

### Cons

- Steep learning curve and limited onboarding, with minimal in-app guidance and a non-intuitive UI.
- Stability issues and bugs, including crashes and occasional instability when leaving the app.
- Quality-of-life UX annoyances, such as intrusive popups and the absence of a basic undo feature.
