It shows real-time countdowns to any date you choose, letting you count down to future events or count up from a past date in seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, or years. In the main view, you’ll see live seconds ticking as you plan birthdays, vacations, anniversaries, New Year’s, and more.

Personalize each event by selecting a background image or color, and apply fun overlay effects like confetti, stars, or hearts. You can customize text color, use supplied images or import your own backgrounds, and even use the built-in date calculator to add or subtract days. Annual events — such as birthdays — can auto-repeat so you’re always aware of remaining time. Plus, suggested popular events auto-update from iCloud, helping you discover new ideas to countdown to.
